The Amazing Science Race’ held in the city of Brandon on Saturday, September 20, 2008 was a success! The competing teams had a great time running around completing the science based and skill related activities held at various locations throughout Brandon. We would like to say thank you to the students and chaperones that took part in the race; we hope to see you again next time! A special thanks to all of the volunteers who put in their time and effort to help us plan and run the race.

We would also like to thank Brandon Transit who allowed the teams to ride for free that day, the Emergency Services College for organizing activities at the fire college, as well as Safeway, Staples and Ambush Paintball for donating supplies. Also, thank you to Brandon University, Riverbank Discovery Centre, the Town Centre, ACC, and the Keystone Centre for allowing us to use their facilities for our race.
