Trevor's Note:
Warren's story
Warren got to the Airport despite the snow and almost getting run off the road
by a semi, flew to Toronto without any problems only to arrive to
lighting storm. The plane was not allowed to dock with the terminal for 5
hours!!! They put him up in a hotel for a couple of hours then shipped him down
to London. Were we met up with him, amazingly still in good spirits. Our loss of
luggage seems minor now.
Trevor Today's Pictures
Delaware Hall -- our sleepy place. |

Inside the
INSTITUTION.
Aren't we slobs? |

Getting setup after we find our
project at our display.
That fishing hat is sweet. |

Trevor has already selected the
winner this year ... what else but Tesla? |

The Thompson Arena where the
projects are housed. |

Yeah, I'm hacking again.
Leave me alone! |

OK, how's this for luck? Wesley
and I played paper, rock, scissors
and guess who had the paper when I
had the rock? Arrg. We had four ties
first though. So, that means I'm officially
the flag-bearer in tomorrow's opening
ceremonies. |

Lorne's Note: Today
was alright. We went shopping at the mall, and went in these cool chairs
that gave Shiatsu massage for a loonie. Talk about digging in, my neck is still
feeling it. Setting up for the project went well, we were done in less
than an hour, and the rest of the day was kind of "draggy".
Lunch was really impressive, but the BBQ was meaty-ocre. I met some interesting
people today too, so that was good. E-mail us something at science@westman.wave.ca
already!! See ya tomorrow :-) Wesley's
Note: We found our project today, so today
was a good day! Breakfast was great, pancakes and eggs, and our incredibly
fast set-up left us with allot of extra time to goof off, and rest. As
well, Lorne nailed me in the neck with a stress-bag filled with sand.....I
wonder if the old, hand in warm water trick actually works?....... |
